FAQ

Common Questions, Answered Directly

A running list of what people ask before their first visit, plus a couple of things that only come up once they've actually seen the rig.

What's a balance fixture, and why should I care?

It's the piece of equipment that pins down where a clubhead's mass actually sits — not the general category a marketing page assigns it. Without that reading, a fitting is working off a guess dressed up as a spec.

Do I need to already understand CG before booking?

Not at all. We walk through it during the session, and the CG guide on this site covers height, depth, and the four matching zones in plain terms if you want to read ahead.

How long am I actually in the chair?

A single club — driver, wood, hybrid, wedge, or putter — runs 45 to 60 minutes. A full iron set stretches to 60 or 90. Plan on 2 to 3 hours if you're bringing the whole bag.

Will I be pushed to buy something?

No. You leave with a written report either way, and there's no follow-up sales call. If you order, the session fee comes off the total.

What should I actually bring?

The clubs tied to whatever you're fitting for, your regular golf shoes, and a rough handicap or scoring range if that's something you track.

Can I just get a CG reading without the full fitting?

Yes — a standalone balance-fixture check is available if you're curious what's already in your bag before committing to a change.

How soon can I actually play a new club?

Most orders are built and ready inside a week. Everything's assembled here, so there's no shipping queue to wait on.

Left-handed clubs too?

Yes, in every category. The demo wall carries left-handed heads and shafts and the balance-fixture process is identical either direction.

What if a spec feels off once I start playing it?

Bring it back within 30 days and we'll adjust loft, lie, or length at no charge while you're still settling in.

How far do people drive to get here?

Bend is home base, but we regularly see golfers coming in from Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, and out toward Tumalo.
